Does VANBRUUN offer engraving on wedding rings and engagement rings?
We offer free engraving on all our jewelry at the time of purchase. If you have an additional ring at home that you would like engraved in the same font, you can also send it in for engraving. If you wish to engrave your rings afterwards, that is also possible, but there will be an additional cost of €40 per ring. We arrange for shipping for both safety and to make it as convenient as possible for you. To engrave a ring afterwards, we ask you to fill out the form here.
How often should I have my ring serviced or checked?
We always recommend our customers to have their rings serviced and inspected approximately once a year, or more often depending on the design of the ring. VANBRUUN offers free claw inspections and maintenance for life; the only cost you are responsible for is the shipping. You can read more about VANBRUUN SPA and our service offerings here.
What is meant by free size adjustment?
We offer free size adjustments according to our policy on our standard range. This means that within 90 days of receiving your order, you are entitled to one free size adjustment per ring. Therefore, you do not need to worry about ordering your ring in the wrong size. If you are unsure, we recommend ordering a size band, or alternatively size rings.
How do I send in my ring for service, replacement, or complaint?
* Pack carefully – Place your product in the smaller box or velvet pouch you received with your delivery. Please note that the original box is not returned when exchanging – always use the pouch or service box instead. * Double protection – Place the box or pouch in the safety bag you received with your delivery. Remember to include the diamond certificate if you are exchanging an item set with a diamond. * Seal and label – Place everything in a padded envelope, either the one you received with the delivery or another padded envelope, seal it carefully, and attach the return label. * Drop off – Drop off the envelope at your nearest postal service point.  
What applies in the case of a complaint about jewelry?
Just like the greatest love stories, our products are created with the ambition to be loved for a lifetime. With design, craftsmanship, and materials in mind, we place great importance on quality. That’s why we offer a lifetime guarantee on all our jewelry, for incidents that arise due to manufacturing defects. According to the Consumer Purchase Act, you always have a 3-year right of complaint on all our products. In the event of a complaint, we ask you to make a report within a reasonable time to ensure a smooth handling.
How does the complaint process work?
* Start by filling out this form. Once you have done this, a return label will be sent to your email; please print it out. * Pack the product securely in a padded envelope and attach the return label to the package. * Drop it off at the nearest PostNord agent and keep the receipt as proof of drop-off. Once we have received your package, our experts will notify you that the package has safely arrived, and then carefully review your claim. A decision will then be made based on the review and communicated to you via email.
What happens after an approved complaint regarding a ring or piece of jewelry?
We prioritize trying to correct any mistakes first. If that is not possible, we will of course replace you with a new product.
Does VANBRUUN buy back diamonds or gold?
Yes, you can read more here and fill out the form on the page, and we will get back to you. We rarely buy other people's diamonds; in some cases, we purchase diamonds graded by GIA. We also buy gold.
Can VANBRUUN help with valuing jewelry?
We do not value jewelry, rings, or diamonds that do not come from VANBRUUN.
