Where are VANBRUUN's rings and jewelry made?
We believe that quality and craftsmanship are two of the main ingredients to the
essence that is VANBRUUN. Therefore, we produce the majority of our jewelry in
the historic jewelry quarter of Birmingham, where expertise contributes to a
unique and sustainable product. Read more about the manufacturing process here.
What does it mean that VANBRUUN uses recycled gold?
We actively work to collaborate with suppliers who operate under sustainable and
responsible conditions. Our main supplier is particularly committed to
protecting the natural resources that the earth provides us – not least gold.
During the manufacturing of jewelry and rings, fine gold dust is created when
the material is polished. To minimize waste and make use of this valuable "gold
dust," our supplier employs an advanced recycling system. With the help of
modern technology, the gold is collected and reused, contributing to a more
sustainable production.
What is the difference between Fairtrade gold and regular gold?
Even though all the gold in our production meets a high standard, we offer and
encourage our customers to choose Fairtrade gold. Fairtrade gold means that the
human conditions in the mine are monitored more thoroughly for better living
conditions. Read more about Fairtrade gold here.
